BYU international basketball tracker: Jimmer Fredette ends season with 50-point game; Plaisted lands in Japan

While the Chinese season has ended for Jimmer Fredette — his Shanghai Sharks got bounced in the first round of the CBA playoffs — many of the former Cougars are still in the middle of regular season play.

Some of the players still in action are producing on good teams while others have had a difficult time finding consistent minutes and production.

Here is a look at where the former Cougars are playing around the world and how they have performed recently.


Charles Abouo, Denain (France-ProB)

After a bit of a scoring slump, Abouo had one of his most productive games of the season in an 80-73 win over Provence Basket. In the seven-point victory, he recorded 19 points on 5 for 8 shooting from the floor, including 2 for 4 from beyond the arc and 7 for 10 from the foul line. He added five rebounds, three assists and a steal in 28 minutes.

In 21 games, he is averaging 8.9 points on 46.9 percent shooting from the floor, including 43.5 percent from 3-point range with 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 19.2 minutes.


Rashaun Broadus, Vechta, (Germany-BBL)

Broadus has struggled with his shot, but has done a nice job as a facilitator since heading to Germany. His best recent showing was in a 92-74 loss to Ludwigsburg when he totaled a team-best five assists to go along with two points and a pair of steals in 15 minutes.
