Jimmer Fredette tracker, CBA game 4: Sharks stay undefeated after another big scoring night from Jimmer

Jimmer Fredette had another big stat line as the Shanghai Sharks improved to 4-0 on the season with a 92-80 win over the Guangzhou Long-Lions on Sunday.

Fredette came away with a game-high 32 points on the strength of 4 for 7 shooting from 3-point land. He also had a good night at the foul line, converting on 10 for 12 attempts. He added four rebounds and a team-high four assists in 41:03.

Wei Lu added 17 points on 6 for 9 shooting from the floor, including 5 for 7 from beyond the arc to go along with five rebounds while XiaoYu Liu chipped in with 16 points, four rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.

Shanghai also got a some nice rebounding efforts from two big men in the win as ZhaoXu Zhang finished with a game-high 11 rebounds to go along with seven points while Guerschon Yabusele managed to snare seven rebounds while scoring seven points.

Ryan Boatright led a balanced offensive attack for the Long-Lions who dropped to 0-4 on the season. He finished with 19 points on 6 for 18 shooting from the floor, including 3 for 7 from distance. He added five assists and four rebounds.

Mohammad Samad Nikkihah Bahrami also had a solid stat line with 16 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two steals in the  loss. Alex Kirk chipped in with 13 points and three rebounds while Mingxin Ju totaled 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Shanghai has won its first four games by an average of 11.5 points while holding opponents to 91.3 points a night.

On the season, Fredette is averaging 38.3 points a game on 52.3 percent shooting from the floor, including 45.9 percent shooting from 3-point range and 91.3 percent from the foul line. He is also averaging 5.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals.

Up next for Fredette and the Sharks a Friday night matchup with the Guangdong Southern Tigers.

The Southern Tigers are 2-2 on the season after a 124-115 overtime win over Liaoning on Sunday.

Some key pieces for the Southern Tigers are former NBA players Donald Sloan, Carlos Boozer and Yi Jianlian.

Sloan is coming off a huge night that saw him score 36 points, hand out nine assists and grab six rebounds. Jianlian also had a massive performance in the overtime victory with 42 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists. Carlos Boozer had a rough outing in the win with just six points on 3 for 14 shooting, but did grab 11 rebounds.
