Morning links: Cincinnati wanted revenge on BYU for kindness; Paul Lasike and Rudy Gobert highlighted

David Wysong of the Cincinnati student newspaper, The News Record, focused on the upcoming matchup between the Bearcats and BYU and looked at why Cincinnati wants revenge.

Wysong starts out by saying, “When a competitor loses to another, revenge is typically in their sights during the next matchup against their foe.”

He then quotes junior safety Carter Jacobs on the subject. “Honestly we’re looking for revenge, they try to kill you with kindness. When we went in there they gave us these goodie bags when we walked in and try to give us shaving cream and stuff like that to make us feel like we’re at home, but I’m looking for revenge because I know it was just a big slap in the face to us.”
