The BYU basketball men’s basketball team lost one of its most talented players on Friday night when it was announced that junior guard Nick Emery had decided to leave the team and withdraw from school.
While some crushed the high scoring guard for his decision on social media, others had nothing but positive things to say.
One of those who was on the positive side was former high school and BYU teammate Eric Mika who took to Twitter on Saturday morning to offer support to Emery during this difficult time.
Plenty of others also took the high road, including some Utah fans who clearly see the bigger picture here.
And of course, a lot of BYU fans have Emery’s back as well.
