Mike Reiss of ESPN looked at four New England Patriots building momentum, and the second player mentioned was former BYU standout Harvey Langi.
“The Patriots have been using him on the edge at times, and Langi caught my eye in one-on-one drills Tuesday because of the multiple ways he won,” wrote Reiss. “His power was evident as he took advantage of what appeared to be a technique miscue by Jaguars right tackle Jeremiah Poutasi (2015 third-round pick) and knocked Poutasi on his backside. After talking about how Langi got the most guaranteed money of any undrafted free agent, Reiss concluded by saying, “He’s making a charge.”
Rachel Bowers of the Boston Globe also took notice of Langi’s play through camp as she listed him as one of four undrafted rookies who stood out so far.
