It was an impressive CBA all-star weekend for former BYU guard Jimmer Fredette.
He started it out by announcing a new partnership to have his own custom shoes built by 361, according to his Facebook page.
He followed it up by scoring 22 points in the final round of the 3-point contest, as he made all five shots on the final rack, to take home the title.
While the game wasn’t as successful as the rest of the weekend from a team standpoint – the South lost to the North 149-147 – Fredette did lead both teams in scoring.
He finished the night with 32 points while hitting six 3-point shots. He also showed off his ability to pass the ball with some perfectly timed alley-oops to Sharks’ teammate Guerschon Yabusele who finished with some monster dunks.
Speaking of dunks, Fredette showed that he could still throw it down with this third quarter fast break finish that got his teammates going.
He was also able to sit down for an interview on the China Global Television network that they shared on their twitter page. During the interview, Fredette talked about life in China on and off the court as well as his Mormon faith.
Jimmer Rocks! Thanks for the great updates!!
