James Herbert of CBS Sports looked at the good, bad and ugly performances out of the people involved in offseason NBA moves.
Utah Jazz point guard, George Hill was the second player named after Kevin Durant. Of Hill’s play so far, Herbert writes, “The unbelievable numbers — 20 points, 4.2 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 53.4 percent shooting, 45.6 percent from 3-point range — might not be sustainable, but his steadying influence on the Jazz is here to stay. When he’s been on the court, Utah has looked like an elite team, outscoring its opponents by 14.3 points per 100 possessions. Hill is exactly what this team needed; he just needs to stay healthy.”
