Brandon Davies made it back on the floor as the Brooklyn Nets fell to the Toronto Raptors 105-89 on Wednesday night.
Toronto used a balanced offensive attack led by Kyle Lowry and Jonas Valanciunas to secure the win. Lowry finished with 20 points, 12 assists, three rebounds and two steals while Valanciunas totaled 16 points on 6 of 7 shooting and 10 rebounds. Amir Johnson, Greivis Vasquez and Patrick Patterson added 13 points a piece as the Raptors improved to 20-6.
Mason Plumlee and Joe Johnson led the way for Brooklyn. Plumlee had 23 points and eight rebounds while Johnson had 17 points, eight boards and three assists. Mirza Teletovic chipped in with 14 points on 4 of 8 shooting from 3-point land while Deron Williams added 11 points and seven assists.
Davies went scoreless while missing his only field goal attempt in 9:23 of action. He did manage to grab three rebounds and block a shot as the Nets fell to 10-14 on the season.
Up next for Davies and Brooklyn is a trip to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers on Friday.
