The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 49

Behind a combined 72 points from the Kings’ big three of DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay and Isaiah Thomas, Sacramento held on to beat the Toronto Raptors 109-101 on Wednesday night.  The Kings took a 20 point advantage before having to hold on for the eight point win.  Cousins came away with 25 points to go along with 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots.  Gay also put up a double-double with 24 points and 10 boards as well as three assists and four steals.  Thomas finished with 23 points on the strength of 15-of-16 shooting from the free-throw line.

Kyle Lowry led the way for Toronto in defeat.  He finished with 21 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and a pair of blocks before fouling out.  The Raptors also got 18 points from DeMar DeRozan as well as 12 points and 11 rebounds from Jonas Valanciunas.

Jimmer played 15:25 on the night and finished with five points on 2-of-5 shooting as well as a steal.

The Kings are back on the floor on Friday night as they travel to Boston to face the Celtics.
