The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 51
Behind a balanced Wizards attack, Washington outlasted the Sacramento Kings 93-84 on sunday afternoon.
Nene led the way with 18 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and three blocks. Marcin Gortat chipped in with 17 points on 6 of 10 shooting as well as eight rebounds while Bradley Beal added 16 points, six rebounds and five assists. Washington also got double figures from John Wall and Kevin Seraphin who put up 12 and 10 points respectively.
Isaiah Thomas led the way for Sacramento with 30 points, eight assists and three steals. DeMarcus Cousins registered 14 points but shot just 3 for 16 from the floor. Cousins also added 12 rebounds, two steals and a pair of blocks. The only other Kings player to score in double figures was Ben McLemore who totaled 11 points and six rebounds off the bench.
Jimmer played just 4:48 in the loss and finished with two points and a turnover.
The Kings are back In action on Tuesday night as they travel to Cleveland to face the struggling Cavaliers.
