The Cougar NBA tracker, Jimmer Fredette: Game 13

Jimmer Fredette saw action in back-to-back games for the first time in more than two weeks as the New Orleans Pelicans lost to the Sacramento Kings 99-89 on Tuesday night.

DeMarcus Cousins led the way for Sacramento with 22 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals.  Omri Casspi also had a big night starting in place of Rudy Gay.  He totaled 22 points on 9 of 14 shooting from the floor to go along with four rebounds.  Ramon Sessions added 15 points, six assists, three rebounds and two steals for the Kings who were also without the services of Darren Collison.  They also got double figure scoring nights out of Ray McCallum and Ben McLemore.  McCallum registered 12 points on 4 of 7 shooting while McLemore chipped in with 10.

Tyreke Evans carried the load for the Pelicans against his former team with 22 points on 10 of 17 shooting from the floor.  He added seven rebounds and five assists, but also had five turnovers in the loss.  Ryan Anderson chipped in with 20 points and five rebounds off the bench.  As for Anthony Davis, even on an off night, he had 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks.

Fredette played 9:21 and had three points on 1 of 3 shooting from the floor, including a miss on his only 3-point attempt.  He also had a pair of assists and a turnover.  His only basket of the game came early in the second quarter when he took a pass from Austin Rivers and made a lay up while drawing a foul from Nik Stauskas.

Up next for Fredette and the Pelicans is a trip to Atlanta to face the Hawks on Friday.
