The return of Childs will bolster a lineup that now features four returning starters from a team that won 24 games and made a run to the WCC Tournament championship game before falling to Gonzaga.
Childs was a massive part of that squad, finishing second on the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game on 54.1 percent shooting from the floor to go along with a team-best 8.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists 35 games.
