BYU basketball got some huge news on Tuesday when Yoeli Childs took to Twitter to announce that he would be returning to BYU for his junior season.
The return of the 2017-18 All-WCC First-Team honoree elicited some fantastic reactions from many Cougar fans and former players on Twitter.
Along with the amazing GIFs, there were plenty of notes of appreciation and excitement.
Even recently departed star, Elijah Bryant weighed in on the decision.
The return of Childs will bolster a lineup that now features four returning starters from a team that won 24 games and made a run to the WCC Tournament championship game before falling to Gonzaga.
Childs was a massive part of that squad, finishing second on the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game on 54.1 percent shooting from the floor to go along with a team-best 8.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists 35 games.
