Frank Bartley IV had another very impressive performance as the Ragin’ Cajuns continued their winning streak with an 80-59 win over Louisiana Monroe on Saturday.

Bartley totaled a game high 22 points on 7-for-13 shooting from the field and 6-for-7 from the foul line while adding four boards and an assist in 34 minutes.

On the season, Bartley is averaging a team-best 16.5 points to go along with 3.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.3 minutes a night for a team that has won 10 straight to improve to 20-3.

Chatman has huge second half in big win

After a slow start, Jordan Chatman caught fire from beyond the arc as the Boston College Eagles came from behind to knock off the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 80-72 on Sunday.

Chatman finished tied for the game high with 19 points on the strength of a 5-for-12 shooting performance from beyond the arc. He added three assists and two rebounds while playing 39 minutes.

Chatman scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half, including four of his five makes from 3-point range to help the Eagles improve to 14-9.

On the season, Chatman is averaging 13.2 points a game on 43.3 percent shooting from deep with 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 35.5 minutes.

Aytes has nice showing in big win

Jamal Aytes continued to impress in limited minutes as the Southern Utah Thunderbirds returned to the win column with an 84-80 win over Idaho State on Saturday.

Aytes finished with ninth straight game scoring in double figures as he totaled 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the floor and 2-for-4 from the foul line. He added three rebounds, three assists and a block in 18 minutes of work.

Through 22 games, he is averaging 12.5 points on 58 percent shooting from the field with 5.1 rebounds in 20.2 minutes.

Toolson, Neilson shine in tough loss

Jake Toolson had a solid night on Saturday as the Utah Valley Wolverines lost 55-54 to Seattle. He totaled 14 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe. He added five rebounds and an assist in 34 minutes.

On the season, he is averaging 11.7 points a night on 50 percent shooting from the floor with 4.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 28.1 minutes.

Isaac Neilson made his mark on the backboards in the tough loss as he recorded a team-high nine rebounds, including three on the offensive end. He added three points and a block in 23 minutes off the bench.

On the season, he is putting up 6.2 points on 65.6 percent shooting to go along with 5.1 rebounds in 16 minutes a night.
