Jordan Chatman continued his hot shooting over the weekend as he tied his career-high in scoring as the Eagles held on to beat the Richmond Spiders 78-73.

The former BYU guard finished with a game-high 30 points on 10-for-16 shooting from the field, including a blistering 7-for-10 from beyond the arc and 3-for-4 from the foul line while playing all 45 minutes in the overtime affair.

It’s the third time in the last four games that Chatman has scored at least 20 points and the 10th time in 12 games that he has scored in double figures.

On the season, he is averaging 14.3 points on 45 percent shooting from the field, including 42.5 percent from 3-point land and 91.7 percent from the foul line. He also chips in with 2.6 rebounds in 34.3 minutes.

Brandon Davies has also played well recently as Zalgiris Kaunas came away with two wins last week. He finished with 10 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field with five rebounds and an assist in 16:25 in a 71-63 win over Valancia Basket in EuroLeague action.

Davies talked about how the game played out on the floor on the ZalgirisTV Youtube channel.

He followed that up with one of his most effective overall games of the year in a 72-60 win over Dzukija in Lithuanian League play. In the win, he totaled nine points on 4-for-7 shooting the floor and 1-for-2 from the foul line. He added a game-high nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in 20:10.

In 14 EuroLeague games, he is averaging 8.0 points on 63.2 percent shooting with 2.6 rebounds in 15:05.

In 16 LKL games, he is averaging 8.6 points on 58.4 percent shooting to go along with 5.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 15:15.

Matt Carlino had another strong scoring performance in a 68-56 setback against Consultinvest Bologna on Saturday. He finished with a game-high 20 points the strength of 7-for-11 shooting from inside the arc. He added three rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block in 31 minutes of work.

Through four games, he is averaging 23 points on 46.9 percent shooting from beyond the arc with 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 30.3 minutes.

Charles Abouo had a really nice outing as well in a 79-42 win over Le Havre on Friday. He totaled 14 points, a team-high nine rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals in 32 minutes on the floor.

Through 11 games, he is averaging 11.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals in 28.5 minutes.
