Morning links: Whittingham, Krystkowiak ranked top coaching duo in Pac-12; BYU’s Jamaal Williams featured

Athlon Sports ranked the best football-basketball coaching duos in the Pac-12 for 2017 and Utah came in at No.1.

Talking about the duo of Kyle Whittingham and Larry Krystkowiak, Athlon Sports wrote, “After a relatively rough transition from the Mountain West to the Pac-12, the Utah football program has averaged 9.3 wins over the last three seasons and is 16–11 in league play over that stretch. Krystkowiak has done a masterful job rebuilding the Utah basketball program. The Utes went 13–5 in the Pac-12 in each of the last two full seasons and could be headed back to the NCAA Tournament for a third straight year with a strong finish.”

Oregon came in second place, followed by Colorado, UCLA and Arizona.

BYU running back Jamaal Williams was featured in the 100th episode of the RSP Film Room with Matt Waldman.

During the video, Waldman and Williams go through game film and break down what kind of player Williams is as a blocker and a runner while getting an in-depth look at what Williams sees on the field.
