TAYLORSVILLE —The Salt Lake City Stars shot the lights out on their way to a 129-100 win over the Texas Legends on Wednesday night.
The Stars connected on 61.3 percent of their 31 3-point attempts to get their first win in six chances in a game they desperately needed.
“It felt real good,” said Jermaine Taylor, who led the way with 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor, including a perfect 4-for-4 from 3-point land in nearly 31 minutes off the bench. “I’ve been on a few teams where we had our share of losses. It’s definitely tough, especially with a young team.”
Taylor had plenty of help from Sundiata Gaines, who finished with 26 points on 9-for-13 shooting with five assists in just his second game with the team.
