After trailing by 13 after one-quarter, the Hawks used a 60 point second half to outlast the Philadelphia 76ers 103-95 on Monday night.
Paul Millsap led the way for Atlanta with 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field to go along with 17 rebounds, four assists and three steals. The Hawks also got a big night from Lou Williams off the bench. Williams totaled 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting as well as five assists and five rebounds.
Thaddeus Young led the 76ers with 23 points on 5-of-6 shooting from behind the arc. He also added three rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocks. James Anderson and Michael Carter-Williams also had solid nights in the loss. Anderson finished with 19 points and four assists while Carter-Williams registered 16 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and three steals.
Brandon Davies played 12:22 against the Hawks and totaled three points on 1-of-2 shooting from 3-point range while also adding three rebounds and a steal.
Philadelphia is back on the floor on Wednesday night when the Bobcats pay them a visit.
