Behind a big a night from Mike Dunleavy and double-doubles from Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson, the Chicago Bulls beat the Boston Celtics for the second night in a row 94-80 on Monday night. Dunleavy led the Bulls with 22 points on 7-of-12 shooting including 3-of-6 from behind the arc to go along with three rebounds and three assists while Joakim Noah added 19 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. Gibson chipped in with 14 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. The Bulls also got solid efforts from Jimmy Butler and Carlos Boozer in the win. Butler scored 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting as well as four rebounds and four assists while Boozer registered 16 points and seven boards.
Brandon Bass led the way for the Celtics with 18 points, nine rebounds and four blocks. Jerryd Bayless added 18 points on the strength of four 3-points shots as well as five assists. Kris Humphries was the only other Boston player to score in double figures with 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting.
Jimmer did not play again in the win even though Kirk Hinrich and D.J. Augustin shot a combined 1-of-15 from the field and 0-for-6 from distance.
Chicago is back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks.
