The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 70

Behind a big night from both Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson, the Bulls beat the 76ers 91-81 on Saturday night.  Noah registered 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots while Gibson put up 16 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.  Jimmy Butler also had a solid night with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists.  D.J. Augustin was the only other Chicago player to score in double figures.  He finished with 16 points, four rebounds and six assists.

Thaddeus Young led the way for the 76ers with 28 points and seven rebounds.  Henry Sims also had a big night with 18 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks.  Michael Carter-Williams led Philadelphia with six assists to go along with seven points and 11 rebounds.

Jimmer didn’t play again in the Bulls win.  There will never be many minutes for Jimmer when Butler plays 45 plus minutes a game like he did on Saturday.

Brandon Davies did not play for the second straight game.  His minutes have been limited since he returned from injury.

The Bulls are back in action on Monday when the Indiana Pacers come to town.
