The Cougar NBA tracker: Brandon Davies, game 63

Tim Hardaway Jr. had one of the best scoring  nights of his young NBA career as the New York Knicks overcame an early deficit to beat the 76ers 123-110 on Monday night.

Hardaway Jr. finished with 28 points on the strength of 9-of-13 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-7 beyond the arc.  Three other Knicks had at least 22 points in the win.  Amare Stoudemire scored 23 points on 9-of-10 shooting to go along with six rebounds while JR Smith and Carmelo Anthony registered 22 points a piece.  Anthony also added nine rebounds and five assists in the win.

Michael Carter-Williams had a monster game in the loss for Philadelphia.  He totaled 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field as well as 13 rebounds, 10 assists and a pair of steals.  The 76ers also got 23 points out of Tony Wroten off the bench.  Thaddeus Young and James Anderson also made nice contributions.  Young registered 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists and two steals while Anderson chipped in with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting.

Brandon Davies is still sidelined as he is recovering from an injured finger.

Philadelphia is back on the floor on Wednesday night as the Sacramento Kings come to town.
