The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 56

The Kings got 17 points out of everybody not named DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay or Isaiah Thomas but still managed to come away from Denver with a 109-95 win over the Nuggets on Sunday night.

Thomas led the way with 33 points on 12-of-16 shooting from the field along with six assists and three steals.  Gay had a monster night as well with 32 points, 11 rebounds and three steals of his own.  Cousins also played very well in the win.  He finished with 27 points, nine rebounds, five assists and five blocked shots.

Randy Foye led the way for the Nuggets with 27 points on the strength of 6-of-11 shooting from 3-point range as well as six rebounds.  Evan Fournier also finished with 27 points on 8-of-11 shooting to go along with five assists and four rebounds.

Jimmer did not play for the second straight game even though Marcus Thornton got traded and the player they got in return, Jason Terry will not by joining the Kings this season.

The Kings are back on the floor on Tuesday night when the Rockets comes to town.
