Ty Lawson led six Nuggets in double figures as they outlasted the undermanned Sacramento Kings 125-117 on Sunday night.
Lawson Finished with 27 point as well as six assists and two steals. He was joined by Wilson Chandler who put up 20 points, five assists and four rebounds along with Kenneth Faried who tallied 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Without DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay once again, the Kings were led by Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Thornton. Thomas finished with 22 points even though he shot just 7-of-21 as well as eight assists and five rebounds while Thornton tallied 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting.
Jason Thompson also had a solid night in the loss with 13 points and 10 rebounds for the struggling Kings.
Jimmer played 11:11 and finished with seven points on 3-of-5 shooting from the field and 1-of-2 from 3-point range. Fredette also handed out two assists while turning the ball over twice.
The Kings are back in action on Monday night as they head to Utah to face the Jazz.
