There are some athletes out there that just have no clue.  Dwight Howard is one of those guys.  He just doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut.

No one cares how you feel about the fact that Tobias Harris is going to wear the 12 in Orlando.

Even though you had some impressive seasons with the Magic, the number hasn’t been retired so I have no issue with anyone else wearing it.

It’s not like you brought the magic titles or anything.  Making it to one NBA final isn’t all that special and you weren’t the only guy on the floor who made contributions to get that far anyway.  Maybe if you could make a free throw you would’ve actually won that title and then you could have a little bit of a reason to talk.  Even if you did lead the Magic to a title you are still an active player on another team.  Why would they take your number out of circulation?

There is no reason for the Magic organization to do anything for you or cater to you in any way at this point in time.

That might’ve been different if you had handled your last two seasons there differently.  Holding the team hostage and getting Personnel fired is never a way to endear yourself to an organization.

Why don’t you worry about what’s happening in Houston and let all the crap from Orlando and Los Angeles go.  Just shut your mouth and let your game do the talking for once.
