It has been a very eventful month for the former BYU Cougars playing basketball around the globe. Eric Mika has found new life with his new team in Germany while Jimmer Fredette, Tyler Haws, Frank Bartley IV, and Brandon Davies have continued to have strong seasons for their respective teams.

Here is a look at how the former BYU basketball players have performed over the last few weeks.

Eric Mika has been on a fantastic run since landing in Germany. After back-to-back double-digit performances in Champions League play, he delivered his best game of the season on Sunday as Medi Bayreuth fell to BBL power FC Bayern Munich, 93-90.

In the close loss, the former BYU inside force was nearly unstoppable, finishing with 23 points on 11-for-12 shooting from the floor and making his only free throw. He added six rebounds (five on the offensive end), two assists and a steal in 28:44 in his first start.

During his time in the BBL, Mika is averaging 14.5 points on 87.5 percent shooting with 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 21:53.

In his three Champions League games, he is averaging 10.3 points on 66.7 percent shooting to go along with 4.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in 16 minutes.

Jimmer Fredette had another strong showing on Friday as the Shanghai Sharks hammered the Qingdao Eagles, 121-86. In the win, he finished with a game-high 32 points on 9-for-19 shooting from the floor, including 4-for-10 from beyond the arc and a perfect 10-for-10 from the foul line. He added a team-best seven assists and three rebounds in 39 minutes.

On the season, Fredette is averaging 37.7 points on 54 percent shooting from inside the arc, 42 percent from 3-point range and 95 percent at the free-throw line. He also chips in with 5.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 2.8 steals in 40.2 minutes a game.

Elijah Bryant has been a scoring machine in his first season in Israel. His best recent showing came in a 100-81 win over Bnei Hertzeliya when he totaled a team-high 20 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field and 2-for-2 from the foul line. He added six rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 27 minutes.

In 16 games, Bryant is averaging 18.3 points on 57.9 percent shooting. He also chips in with 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals in 32.2 minutes.

Brandon Davies is in the middle of a very strong season for the top team in Lithuania. His best showing of late came in a 93-79 win over Anadolu Efes Istanbul when he registered a game-high 18 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in 29 minutes.

In 21 EuroLeague games, he is averaging 14.3 points on 54.9 percent shooting with 5.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 24:53 minutes.

In 19 LKL games, Davies is averaging 12.3 points on 61.7 percent shooting to go along with 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 18:22.

Kyle Collinsworth had an impressive all-around performance on Friday night in a 117-112 loss to Fort Wayne Mad Ants. In the loss, he finished with 13 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the field while converting on his only free throw. He added eight rebounds (three on the offensive end), five steals, three assists and a block in 34 minutes.

In 28 games, he is averaging 10.5 points on 45.1 percent shooting with 7.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals in 31.1 minutes.

Tyler Haws has had a bounce-back season for one of the top teams in Spain’s second division. In his latest game, BYU’s all-time leading scorer finished with 15 points on 5-for-11 shooting from the floor and 4-for-5 from the free-throw line. He added six rebounds, two assists, and a steal in 29 minutes.

On the season, Haws is averaging 14.9 points on 47.3 percent shooting from the floor, 42.2 percent from 3-point land and 88.1 percent from the line. He also chips in with 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 28:14

Matt Carlino has been instant offense off the bench for the top team in France’s second division. In his latest game, he totaled 11 points on 4-for-7 shooting, including 3-for-5 from deep. He added five rebounds, five assists, and two steals in 20 minutes.

In 14 games, Carlino is averaging 16.2 points on 45.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc and 83.8 percent from the charity stripe. He also contributes 3.9 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals in 22.7 minutes.

Frank Bartley IV has been putting up huge numbers in his first season as a pro playing in Canada. He had another big night on Tuesday as the Riptide fell to the Moncton Magic, 91-88. In the loss, he totaled 23 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals in 43 minutes.

In 22 games, Bartley is averaging 18.5 points on 43.7 percent shooting to go along with 5.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 35.2 minutes.

Jonathan Tavernari has started to find the range from the outside in recent weeks after changing teams. His best performance recently came in an 89-82 loss to Remer TVG when he totaled 12 points on 4-for-7 shooting from distance with three rebounds, three assists and a steal in 22 minutes.

In 10 games, Tavernari is averaging 6.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 17.1 minutes.

Damarcus Harrison has been a consistent performer in his first year in the Latvia-Estonian League. He had another nice game recently in an 86-63 win over Valmiera Glass Via when he registered 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting from the floor and 3-for-3 from the foul line. He also chipped in with eight rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes.

In 16 games, He is averaging 12.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 25.4 minutes.

Charles Abouo was off to solid start with Blois before an injury derailed his season. He has appeared in just five games so far where he has averaged 10.4 points on 51.4 percent shooting with 4.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 23.4 minutes.
