Max Olson of ESPN looked at all the Big 12 candidates after the first weekend of college football.
After talking about Houston’s big win over Oklahoma, he talked about BYU in his fun facts section, saying, “BYU has 11 victories against Power 5 opponents since becoming an FBS Independent program in 2011. New coach Kalani Sitake pulled off his first one Saturday with a 18-16 win against Arizona.”
He then ranked the Cougars at No. 2 in the Big 12 expansion weekly rankings behind Houston.
