Fredette saw little time as the Mavericks overcame a huge effort from Anthony Davis to knock off the Pelicans 109-104 on Saturday night.
Chandler Parsons led a very balanced Dallas attack with 20 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists. Five other Mavericks scored in double figures, including 17 points a piece from Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis.
Davis had a spectacular showing in the loss with 31 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Tyreke Evans and Jrue Holiday also played well. Evans finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and a pair of steals while Holiday had 24 points, six assists, four rebounds and three steals.
Jimmer played just 3:39 for New Orleans in the defeat and recorded no stats.
Up next for Fredette and the Pelicans is a game with the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
