After trailing by 18 at half time, the Bulls turned it on to race past the Pistons 106-98 on Friday night. Chicago scored 68 points in the second half while holding Detroit to just 42 in the win.
D.J. Augustin led the Bulls with 24 points and six assists off the bench while Carlos Boozer added 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting as well as seven rebounds. Taj Gibson chipped in with 17 points while Mike Dunleavy contributed 14 points and six boards. Joakim Noah just missed out on another triple-double after finishing with six points on 2-of-10 shooting to go along with 12 rebounds and 10 assists. He also added a pair of steals and three blocks for the 47-32 Bulls.
Andre Drummond led the way for the Pistons with 26 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the floor as well as 26 rebounds and three blocks. Rodney Stuckey also had a solid game with 22 points on 10-of-18 shooting.
Jimmer did not play in the win. Chicago is back in action on Sunday when they travel to New York to take on the Knicks.
