The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 78

Behind a big night from D.J. Augustin off the bench and a triple-double from Joakim Noah, the Chicago Bulls knocked off the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-87 on Wednesday night.

Augustin made 8-of-14 shots from the floor including 4-of-7 from beyond the arc on his way to a team-leading 21 points while Noah tallied 15 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists as well as a pair of blocks in the win.  Chicago also got double figure scoring nights from Kirk Hinrich (16), Mike Dunleavy (15), Jimmy Butler (14) and Taj Gibson (13).  Butler also added seven assists and five rebounds.

Minnesota was led by Kevin Love who finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Ricky Rubio who ended up with 15 points and six assists.

Jimmer did not play once again which is no shock when you consider that the Bulls shot the ball very well.

Chicago is back in action on Friday night when the Pistons travel to the windy city to pay the Bulls a visit.
