The Cougar NBA tracker: Brandon Davies, game 78

Thanks to a big night from both Jonas Valanciunas and Kyle Lowry, the Toronto Raptors outlasted the Philadelphia 76ers 125-114 in a high scoring affair on Wednesday night.

Valanciunas came away with 26 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field to go along with a team-leading 12 rebounds while Lowry paced the Raptors with 29 points as well as five rebounds and eight assists.  Patrick Patterson and DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 17 points a piece.

Henry Sims led the way for the 76ers with 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting as well as eight rebounds while Michael Carter-Williams ended up with 19 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.  James Anderson chipped in with 17 points, six rebounds and three assists while Thaddeus Young added 16 points in the loss.

Brandon Davies played 8:04 and registered four points on 50 percent shooting to go along with two rebounds and one assist.

Philadelphia is back on the floor on Friday night when they travel to Memphis to battle the Grizzlies.
