With the NBA regular season winding to a close and a very lackluster Jazz year coming to an end there is still plenty to cheer for as a Utah basketball fan.  Five local college legends have been on rosters this season with varying levels of both playing time and success.  Here is a look at how they have performed on the court.

Andre Miller, Utah, Washington Wizards: after falling out of favor with head coach Brian Shaw following an argument on the bench, Miller was traded to the Washington Wizards as part of a three-team deal.  He has Averaging 14.4 minutes a night in 19 games for the Wizards coming off the bench as a backup to John Wall.  During that stretch, Miller is averaging 4.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists.  One of his most productive games in Washington came on Saturday night when Miller scored 10 points on 4 of 4 shooting from the floor to go along with three assists and a steal as Washington beat the Atlanta Hawks.

Andrew Bogut, Utah, Golden State Warriors: Bogut is a key piece to the success that the Warriors have had this season.  He leads the team in rebounding with 10.1 boards per game and blocked shots with 1.9 a night.  Bogut also leads the team in field goal percentage (62.7) while averaging 7.6 points.

Bogut is struggling with a hip pointer and only played four minutes in Saturday’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Jimmer Fredette, BYU, Chicago Bulls: after he wasn’t traded at the deadline, Fredette had his contract bought out by the Kings and decided to sign with the Chicago Bulls. But that transition hasn’t brought Fredette any more opportunities on the floor. In fact, he has been with the Bulls for nearly a month but has only played 21 minutes in five games.  In that time, he has scored 15 points on 50 percent shooting from behind the arc.

Brandon Davies, BYU, Philadelphia 76ers: after missing nearly two months with an injured pinky finger, Davies has played in five games over the last two weeks.  After playing very limited minutes in the first three contests, Davies has seen double figures in minutes each of the last two and totaled six points and ten rebounds.

On the season, Davies is averaging 2.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in 42 games.

Damian Lillard, Weber State, Portland Trail Blazers: Lillard is a huge reason why the Trail Blazers are 47-27 so far this season. He is averaging nearly 36 minutes a game and is second on the team in scoring while leading Portland in assists.

Although Lillard has struggled with his shot as of late, he is still averaging 21 points a night to go along 3.6 rebounds and 5.5 assists a game.
