Behind a monster night from Taj Gibson off the bench and a balanced attack from the starters the Chicago Bulls beat the Indiana Pacers 89-77 on Monday night. Gibson finished the night with 23 points on the strength of 9-of-15 shooting as well as eight rebounds. Kirk Hinrich added 18 points while Mike Dunleavy registered 13 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Joakim Noah also had a big night for Chicago with 10 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, four steals and three blocks.
Paul George led the way for the Pacers with 21 points, seven rebounds and four steals. George Hill added 17 points and four assists while David West chipped in with 14 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocks.
Jimmer did not play in the win even though the Bulls backcourt shot just 12-of-37 from the floor.
Chicago is off until Friday when the Portland Trail Blazers come to town.
