23. Dan Fouts: Fouts wa selected with in the third round (64th overall) by the San Diego Chargers in the 1973 draft.  He spent his entire 15-year career with the Chargers and started 171 of 181 games that he appeared in.  The six-time Pro Bowler was one of the most prolific passers in NFL history.  He led the league in passing yards for four straights seasons and led the league in passing yards a game for six seasons.  From 1979-’82 Fouts was dominant.  In ’79, Fouts was named First-Team All-Pro after leading the league in completion percentage (62.6) and passing yards (4,082) while throwing for 24 touchdowns.  A year later, Fouts was named to the Pro Bowl after leading the Chargers to an 11-5 record and another trip to the playoffs.  That season Fouts completed 59.1 percent of his passes for a 4,715 yards and 30 touchdowns.  In ’81, Fouts was even better.  He led the league and set career-highs in passing yards 4,802 and passing touchdowns (33).  Fouts rounded out the four-year stretch by leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns once again to be named First-Team All-Pro for the second time and the league MVP.

For his career, Fouts completed 58.8 percent of his passes for 43,040 yards and 254 touchdowns to go along with 13 touchdowns on the ground.  For his efforts with the Chargers, Fouts was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 1993.
