The Bulls got out to a huge lead in the first quarter and never looked back in a 109-90 victory over the New York Knicks on Sunday afternoon.
Joakim Noah led the way for Chicago with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists while adding two steals and a pair of blocked shots. The Bulls also got impressive outings from Jimmy Butler and D.J. Augustin in the win. Butler finished with 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals while Augustin added 23 points on 4-of-5 shooting from 3-point range coming of the bench.
Carmelo Anthony led the way for the Knicks with 21 points while Tyson Chandler finished with a game-high 22 rebounds to go along with eight points and three blocks. Only three other Knicks scored in double figures and they all came off the bench. Amare Stoudemire and Tim Hardaway Jr. Each finished with 14 points while J.R. Smith added 13.
Jimmer played 3:08 and finished with two points on 1-of-2 shooting to go along with two rebounds.
The Bulls are back on the floor tomorrow night as they head to Brooklyn to take on the surging Nets.
