With DeMarcus Cousins finally back on the floor after a lengthy absence, the Kings came out firing on all cylinders and made short work of the Chicago Bulls 99-70 on Monday night.
Cousins led the way for Sacramento with 25 points, 16 rebound. and four assists. The Kings also got a solid shooting night from Isaiah Thomas who finished 7-of-9 from the floor on his way to 19 points. Rudy Gay came away with a decent effort as well providing 14 points, six rebounds and two steals.
Chicago was led in scoring by Jimmy Butler who finished with 17 points to go along with five rebounds and three steals. The only other Bulls’ to score in double figures were Tony Snell and Taj Gibson who finished with 11 apiece off the bench.
After missing the Kings’ last game due to illness, Jimmer had an impressive showing in 10:56 on the floor. He tied for the team led in assists with four and steals with two. Fredette also shot 5-of-5 from the field to finish the night with 11 points.
Sacramento is back on the floor on Wednesday night as the Toronto Raptors come to town.
