Paul Pierce led three Nets’ with at least 20 points as New Jersey outlasted Philadelphia 108-102 on Monday night.
Pierce managed 25 points on just nine field goal attempts thanks to a 14 for 14 clip from the free-throw line. Deron Williams added 21 points as well as six assists while Mirza Teletovic shot 5-of-9 from 3-point range on his way to 20 points off the bench. The Nets also got a massive night from Shawn Livingston who put up 13 points, six rebounds, eight assists and seven steals.
Michael Carter-Williams led the way for Philadelphia with 21 points even though he shot just 6-of-17 from the floor and registered six turnovers. He was joined in double figures by Thaddeus Young with 17, James Anderson with 12 and Tony Wroten with 18 off the bench.
Brandon Davies is still out of action with his injured finger.
Philadelphia is back in action on Wednesday night as the Boston Celtics come to town.
