Behind an impressive outing from second year guard Bradley Beal, Washington beat the 76ers 107-99 on Monday afternoon.
Beal put up 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists. The Wizards also got solid contributions from Marcin Gortat, John Wall and Kevin Seraphin in the win. Gortat tallied 19 points, 11 rebounds and four blocks. Wall accounted for 14 points, five assists, five rebounds and two blocks. Seraphin Scored 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting and seven boards off the bench.
Michael Carter-Williams led the way for Philadelphia in the loss with 31 points on 13-of-22 shooting As well as six rebounds, five assists and three steals. The 76ers also got a nice Rebounding effort from Spencer Hawes who grabbed 16 boards to go along with his 11 points.
Brandon Davies didn’t play because of a dislocated Finger.
Philadelphia will be back on the floor on Wednesday night as they travel to New York to face Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks.
