Behind a huge night from both Thaddeus Young and Evan Turner, the Sixers came away from Sacramento with a 113-104 victory on Thursday night.
Young shot 9-of-16 from the field on his way to 28 points to go along with seven rebounds, four assists and six steals. Turner finished the night with 24 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals.
Philadelphia also got a huge effort off the bench from Tony Wroten who finished with 21 points, four rebounds and three assists.
The Kings were led by DeMarcus Cousins who registered 33 points, 14 rebounds and two steals. Isaiah Thomas also had a nice night with 23 points and seven assists in a losing effort.
Jimmer had one of his most impressive quarters in his NBA career. After going scoreless in 4:39 of playing time over the course of the first three-quarters, Fredette Managed to set a new season-high in scoring while playing the entire fourth quarter. Jimmer shot 5-of-8 from the field including 3-of-6 from 3-point range and made both of his free-throws to finish the quarter with 15 points. Jimmer added four rebounds and a blocked shot in 16:39 on the floor.
His most dominant stretch came between 11:03 and 8:45 of the fourth when Jimmer made all four of his shots from the field and both free-throws to score 12 straight points for the Kings.
The Kings are back on the floor on Saturday night as they take on the Charlotte Bobcats at home.
