The Kings overcame a huge effort from James Harden to beat The Rockets in Houston 110-106 on Tuesday night.
Harden made 5-of-11 3-point shots and 9-of-10 free-throws on his way to 38 points. He also added 10 rebounds and two steals in the loss. The Rockets also got a nice outing from Terrence Jones who finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and four blocked shots.
The Kings had six players score in double figures led by Rudy Gay with 25. DeMarcus Cousins was a beast on the glass ripping down 16 rebounds to go along with 17 points and four steals. Isaiah Thomas also had a double-double for Sacramento with 17 points and 10 assists.
Fredette was the most aggressive he has been this season on the offensive end. He put up eight shots in just over 13 minutes on the floor and finished 10 points on 50 percent shooting. On the night, Jimmer also made both of his free-throws to stay perfect on the season from the charity stripe.
The Kings will be back at home on Thursday night as the Philadelphia 76ers come to town in what will be the first meeting between former college teammates Brandon Davies and Jimmer.
