Brandon Davies played nearly 15 minutes of action, but the Pistons got a career night from Andre Drummond as they beat the Philadelphia 76ers 115 to 100 on Sunday afternoon.
Drummond made 12-of-15 shots from the field on his way to 31 points as well as collecting 19 rebounds. He also registered six steals and two blocked shots
Drummond wasn’t the only player to have a big day for the Pistons however.
Both Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings each registered 20 points. Jennings also led the Pistons with 12 assists.
The Sixers were led on the afternoon by Thaddeus Young who scored 24 points in just 29 minutes of play before fouling out.
Philadelphia also got huge contributions from Evan Turner and Michael Carter-Williams.
Turner made 7-of-12 shots and ended the game with 20 points, four rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Carter-Williams struggled from the field only making 5-of-15 shots but ended the game with 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and six steals.
Brandon Davies played 14:22 and scored 4 points while tallying one assist and a steal.
Davies continues to play consistent minutes even though he doesn’t provide much on the offense of end of the floor.
Philadelphia will be back in action on Tuesday night as they take on the Orlando Magic at home.
