Is the plan changing for the Utah Jazz?

I am trying to figure out what the end goal for the Utah Jazz is right now.  It seemed pretty clear to me just a few days ago and all seemed to be going according to plan and then tonight happened.

The won their second game on the season tonight with an overtime win over the Chicago Bulls.

I have no issues with the Jazz winning a few games but the way they did it was more than a little concerning to me.

What good does it do when they are trying to rebuild and get a good draft pick in the process to play multiple players that aren’t in their long-term plans.

Having to watch Richard Jefferson and Marvin Williams play a combined 80 minutes is just hard for me to stomach.  Not because they didn’t play well, but because there is just no point for them to be on the floor.  We need to find out which of their young players actually have game and that can’t happen if they aren’t on the floor.

Gobert, Evans and Burks should have spent much more time in the game.  They combined for just over 55 minutes in a 53 minute game.  That is just unacceptable.

Wins aren’t the point this year, at least not at the expense of experience for the young guys.
