The Kings were back in action on Friday night but for the second consecutive game Jimmer was not.
Sacramento was at home facing the Detroit Pistons and fell for the sixth time in eight contests. The Kings played 11 players in a 97-90 defeat at the hands of Detroit.
The Pistons were led on the night by Josh Smith who finished with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals and 4 blocks.
The Kings were led by DeMarcus Cousins who finished with 26 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks.
The Kings will be back at home on Sunday to take on the Memphis Grizzles in another tough test.
Fredette has only played a total of 23 minutes so far this season in eight Kings games. To put that into perspective, Brandon Davies has played a total of 70 for the 76ers even though he wasn’t on their roster during any of training camp.
After seeing numbers like that, it is abundantly clear that Jimmer doesn’t have any kind of shot at getting consistent meaningful minutes as a King ever again.
