I am a big time soccer fan and have been ever since I started playing the game.  I am such a big fan in fact, that I have season tickets to ReAl Salt Lake.

RSL is in action tonight in their second leg of their second round playoff match-up with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

As sad as it may sound, I have absolutely no faith that RSL can get a win tonight and advance.  I hate to say that as a fan, but there are a couple of things that make me think that.

The first is that the Galaxy are just a really bad match-up for RSL.  They just have no one on that back line that can challenge the skill of either Landon Donovan or Robbie Keane.  They are far too gifted for the likes of Nat Borchers and company to totally shut down.

The other reason is because RSL has had the most difficult time winning big games at home.  I am not sure why they have such a tough time winning the important games at home but it has been like that for the last few years.

Hopefully RSL can prove me wrong tonight and they can advance deep in the playoffs unlike the last few years.
