The Cougars were back in the friendly confines of the Marriott Center on Saturday night to take on the Alaska Anchorage Seawolves in the final exhibition game of the year.
On a night where BYU really struggled with their outside shot, they dominated the game from the inside as they were able to coast to a relatively easy 99-68 win.
This was the second all-time matchup between the Cougars and the Seawolves but the first since 1980.
The Cougars had two new starters from their first exhibition game as Frank Bartley and Nate Austin got the call along with Haws, Carlino and Collinsworth.

BYU started slowly and found themselves in a six point hole early before they got things rolling offensively.
The Cougars promptly went on a 10-2 run to take their first lead of the night, and from that point BYU never looked back. They were able to get to the front of the rim almost at will for plenty of layups and dunks.
The Cougars were able to take a 14 point lead into the half on the strength of a 21 rebound advantage. They also owned the offensive glass; hold a 15 to 6 edge after 20 minutes, which led to plenty of easy baskets.
The Cougars picked up right where they left off with a 19-7 run to start the second half and blow the game wide open.
On the night, BYU out rebounded the Seawolves 69-29, and won the second chance battle by a 32-4 margin.
The Cougars were led by Matt Carlino and Eric Mika who both finished with double- doubles. Carlino had 17 points and 11 rebounds While Mika had 17 points on 8-of-11 from the field and 14 rebounds. Carlino and Mika were joined in double figures by Kyle Collinsworth with 14 points, and Tyler Haws with 13.
The Cougars’ next game is on Friday night as they open up the regular season against the Weber State Wildcats in Provo.
