I don’t know how you let Carey go for just under 250 yards on the ground, but there is no way you win a game when you let that happen. Utah isn’t a good enough football team to overlook anyone in the PAC 12 and at times they didn’t look ready to play tonight. To me that means they were looking ahead to playing USC and weren’t fully focused on the Wildcats. You cant do that in the PAC 12. This isn’t the Mountain West anymore and players, coaches and fans need to remember that.
On Saturday afternoon the Utah Utes Beat the #5 ranked Stanford Cardinal in what some are calling one of the biggest wins on the gridiron in team history.
While the game was an impressive victory By the Utes, you can only classify it as one of the best wins the school has had if you are able to build on it.
That is a tall order indeed. The Utes have six more PAC 12 games and four of them are on the road. Only one of their remaining games can be considered even close to an easy game and that is against the Colorado Buffalos. Although that’s what Ute fans and prognosticators thought two years ago when a terrible Colorado team that was 1-10 came into Rice Eccles Stadium and left with their first road win In four years and took the Utes spot in the PAC 12 championship game…
