This story is just so disgusting to me that I’m having a hard time finding the words. How do you give a suspended sentence to anyone who hits a defenseless child?
There is nothing that a little child can ever do to warrant being hit even just a little bit.
I am just so saddened that people like this walk the streets, especially when in at least this case, he should have already been behind bars.
When will we ever learn that there needs to be consequences for our actions? Counseling for a violent crime on a child is not a punishment worthy of the actions.
How could he not do jail time? It doesn’t make any sense. The punishment should fit the crime and when that crime is against a child, the person needs to be locked away for a long, long time.
My heart goes out to Adrian Peterson today and to all the children out there who have to go through things like his son did.
