Sports Illustrated released its college football midseason All-American team and players from the Utes and the Cougars made the list.
Utah’s Mitch Wishnowsky earned first-team recognition as the punter after leading the nation with 49.13 yards yards per punt.
BYU running back Jamaal Williams made the second-team. He is second in the nation with 942 yards and 10 touchdowns on 165 carries. Donnel Pumphrey of San Diego State and Dalvin Cook from Florida State were the first-team running backs.
