The young and inexperienced Philadelphia 76ers gave the Pacers all they could handle on Friday night before falling 101-94.
Paul George led the way for Indiana with 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting to go along with four rebounds, six assists and a pair of steals. David West added 18 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots while Lance Stephenson chipped in with 13 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.
Thaddeus Young paced the Sixers with 25 points although he made just 10-of-31 shots, as well as 10 assists, six rebounds and three steals. Byron Mullens and Michael Carter-Williams also came away with a solid efforts.. Mullens provided 15 points, five rebounds and two steals off the bench while Carter-Williams put up 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
Brandon Davies is still on the shelf recovering from an injured finger.
Philadelphia is back on the floor Saturday night as the Memphis Grizzlies come to town.
