Like just about every other team in the NBA, the 76ers had no answer for Kevin Durant. He went for 42 points on 14-of-20 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and a pair of steals as the Oklahoma City Thunder crushed Philadelphia 125-92 on Tuesday night.
As good as Durant was, Russell Westbrook may have played even better. He registered 13 points, 10 rebounds, 14 assists and three steals in only 20 minutes on the floor.
Four other Oklahoma City players scored in double figures including Serge Ibaka and Reggie Jackson who finished with 14 points a piece.
The Sixers were led by James Anderson who tallied 20 points in the loss. Byron Mullens also did some nice things for Philadelphia on the night. He totaled 15 points, six rebounds and two assists off the bench.
Brandon Davies is still on the shelf recovering from his injured finger. Philadelphia is back in action on Saturday night when the Utah Jazz come to town.
