The Cougar NBA tracker: Jimmer Fredette, game 46

Thanks to a great shooting night from Dirk Nowitzki, The Dallas Mavericks outlasted the Kings 107-103 on Friday night.

Dirk totaled 34 points on 11-of-19 shooting while making all 11 of his free-throw attempts.  He was joined in double figures by Monta Ellis, Jose Calderon and Brandon Wright.  Ellis tallied 20 points on only 10 shots to go along with three steals; Calderon registered 14 points and seven rebounds; Brandon Wright came away with 10 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

Sacramento was led by a monster night from Rudy Gay.  He led all scorers with 35 points on 10-of-16 shooting as well as 12 rebounds and six assists.

The only other Kings’ player to score in double digits was Isaiah Thomas who finished with 19 points while handing out six assists.

Jimmer played just 6:24 in the loss but was extremely productive.  He scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting and dished out two assists.

The Kings are back in action on Saturday night as they travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs.
