The Cougar NBA tracker: Brandon Davies, game 43

Behind impressive showings from DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, the Toronto Raptors beat the 76ers 104-95 on Friday night.

DeRozan put up 34 points and nine rebounds, while Lowry finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists.  The Raptors also got solid contributions from Patrick Patterson and John Salmons off the bench. Patterson tallied 11 points, nine rebounds and three steals while Salmons chipped in with 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting.

Michael Carter-Williams led five 76ers in double figures in the loss.  He finished with 20 points as well as five assists and two steals.  Spencer Hawes came away with 14 points, 12 rebounds and four assists while Thaddeus Young registered 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals.

Philadelphia also got a nice night from Hollis Thompson off the bench.  He finished with 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting and nine rebounds.

Brandon Davies missed his third straight game due to his finger injury and is expected to miss at least a month.

Philadelphia is back on the floor tomorrow night as the Oklahoma City Thunder come to town.
